Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary unemployment rate increased to 10.3 percent in December 2010 from a revised 10.2 percent in November 2010, according to the Office of Employment and Training (OET), an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary unemployment rate increased to 10.3 percent in December 2010 from a revised 10.2 percent in November 2010, according to the Office of Employment and Training (OET), an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.The December 2010 jobless rate is .3 percentage point lower than the 10.6 percent rate recorded in December 2009 for the state. The 10.3 percent rate recorded in December 2010 is the highest rate since May 2010 when it was 10.4 percent.
