MSHA Issues Massey Imminent Danger Order
WEST VIRGINIA....Massey Energy said in a regulatory filing Thursday that the MSHA issued an imminent danger order Wednesday involving a rain saturated pile of rock and other material on the surface at its Camp Branch mine about 58 miles southwest of Charleston. Massey says two inches of rain that fell overnight left the pile in danger of falling on mining equipment and miners. The company says it's considering options for fixing the problem.
