Death Attributed To Storm
KENTUCKY....Central Kentucky was braced for an ice storm but awoke Thursday morning, as did much of eastern Kentucky, to a slushy mix of rain and ice. Kentucky State Police say one death could be attributed to the storm. Howard C. Garner, 80, of Nancy, lost control of his Jeep on a patch of ice on Highway 80 in Russell County at 12:35 P.M. Thursday, ran off the road and overturned. Garner was pronounced dead at the scene.
