Talented And Gifted Children's Council Moved To WKU
KENTUCKY...
The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children has moved its international headquarters to Western Kentucky University.The headquarters has been located at the University of Winnipeg in Canada but is moving to Bowling Green with help from a gift from a Bowling Green family that has supported gifted and talented programs and endowed a professorship in 2003.The world council holds a biennial conference and publishes the journal Gifted and Talented International.Western President Gary Ransdell says locating the council headquarters at Western will make the university's commitment to gifted and talented studies stronger.
