November Is Hospice/Palliative Care Month

KENTUCK
Pike County Judge-Executive Wayne T. Rutherford recently proclaimed November 2010 as ‘National Hospice/Palliative Care Month’ in Pike County. Attending the announcement was Malta Burchett and Patti Beatty from Appalachian Hospice Care, Randy Johnson from Pikeville Medical Center Palliative Care Program, Rutherford, and Connie Boyd, Ingrid Flowers and Michelle Sode from Hospice of the Bluegrass – Mountain Rivers.
