Louisville Ranks High In Technology For Citizens

Louisville Metro Government has been named one of the best in the United States in using technology for its citizens.
The Digital Cities Survey found Metro Government second only to Boston among cities of more than 250,000 in using technology to improve services.
The survey was conducted by e.Republic's Center for Digital Government.
The survey looked at how well city governments use information technology to improve and deliver basic services, manage budgets, provide public safety and other areas.
Louisville Metro scored high marks for public safety, especially for the recently completed MetroSafe Communications system that links all police, fire and other emergency responders.
