Fire At Green River Lake State Park
KENTUCKY...
A fire at Green River Lake State Park in central Kentucky destroyed a building that housed a marina store, gift shop and restaurant.
The fire around 11 a.m. on Friday did not injure anyone because the marina was closed at the time, but floating cabins at the marina's docks were evacuated.
Fire department officials said that several small propane tanks, possibly used for cooking, exploded and helped to fuel the fire.
Officials are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. A jet ski and a boat were also damaged.
