Assistant UK Dean Arrested
KENTUCKY....
Ray Dowd, 49, assistant dean at the University of Kentucky, was arrested Saturday afternoon and is facing charges after a woman reported he was acting suspicious outside her apartment at the Springhouse Apartments. He is facing charges of criminal trespassing and giving a false name and address to a police officer, but also faces other accusations after the woman also told police that he was the same person who exposed himself to her weeks earlier. UK officials said Monday that Dowd is still employed with the university. They also said they know about Dowd's arrest, and did not say if they will take any disciplinary action towards him.
Dowd was released on bond on Sunday.
