Guilty Murder Pleas Entered
WEST VIRGINIA....
Two men have pleaded guilty in the death of 27 year old Brandon Greene which occurred outside a South Charleston nightclub 5 years ago. Thomas Drew Bess, 29, of Cross Lanes, and Hubert Lee Scruggs, 24, of Charleston, have pleaded guilty to lesser charges after being charged with first-degree murder. Bess pleaded to conspiracy to commit murder and was sentenced to one to five years in prison. Scruggs pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and will be back in court in October. He could be sentenced to 3-15 years in prison.
