Corbin Hit-And-Run Victim Released
KENTUCKY....
Twelve year old Meghan Roehrich of Corbin was released from Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital Thursday, more than than two weeks after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the Cumberland Falls Highway in Corbin to visit her grandparents on July 26th. Meghan was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center by ambulance, then airlifted to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital and later taken to Cardinal Hill, where she spent the last week. She injured her shoulder and suffered fractures in her right femur, knee and pelvis. Michael Petery is charged with second-degree assault, leaving the scene of an accident and driving with no license or insurance.
