Beshear Chief Of Staff Resigning
KENTUCKY...
Gubernatorial Chief of Staff Adam Edelen is resigning effective next month after more than two years as Gov. Steve Beshear's right hand man. Beshear praised Edelen's leadership and his passion for Kentucky in announcing his pending departure. Edelen is a potential candidate for state auditor in next year's elections. He declined to say if he's stepping down to begin his campaign.
Beshear said his chief legislative liaison, Mike Haydon, will replace Edelen. Haydon, who formerly served as chief of staff to House Majority Floor Leader Rocky Adkins, has held numerous posts in state government and once served as mayor of Springfield.
