West Virginia Man Missing In Maryland State Forest
WEST VIRGINIA....
Seventy-two year old James Lewis Alt of Piedmont, West Virginia was reported missing Saturday after he and some friends went ginseng hunting in the Savage River State Forest in Maryland. The group separated about 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning with plans to rendezvous at their vehicle around 4:00 P.M., but Alt failed to show up. He was reported missing around 8:00 P.M. Maryland Natural Resource officials and other rescuers have been searching for Alt while using both K-9 and horseback units. Alt is a white male, stands about six feet tall, weighs around 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a baseball cap, blue shirt and blue jeans.
