Stimulus Money Provides Training/Jobs


KENTUCKY....
Kentucky Housing Corporation will receive almost $1 million in federal stimulus money to fund weatherization training. The organization will receive $996,000 from the U.S. Department of Energy to establish a new weatherization training center in Frankfort and to expand training programs. The project was one of 34 in 27 states that received a total of $29 million in funding. The projects are aimed at providing job training in energy-efficient weatherization.
