State Corrections Employee Faces Drug Charge

Kentucky State Police confirmed Friday that 58 year old Billy Finley of Kuttawa, a corrections employee at the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville was found with Xanax and Lortab prescription pills when officers conducted a random search of employees during a shift change while he was on duty last week. He was arrested and lodged at the Caldwell County Detention Center after being charged with promoting contraband. Finley has worked at the state prison for five years. The investigation was conducted by State Police Detective Brett Miller.
