Plane Crashes At Rainelle Airport
WEST VIRGINIA....
According to the FAA, a four-seat Cessna 182-P Skylane aircraft registered to Sky King Aviation of Wilmington, Delaware crashed a short distance from Rainelle Airport's 3,300-foot grass runway atop Sewell Mountain shortly before noon Friday. Officials say the plane went into some trees at the end of the runway. Three aboard the plane, Rodney Ouzt, Roger Peace and J.T. Little were taken to Greenbrier Valley Hospital, and the pilot, Verone Peace, was flown by helicopter to Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital. All four men are from Greenwood in Pickens County, South Carolina. They had taken off from the Cleveland area Friday morning en route to Rainelle, but crashed just short of the runway.
