Part-Time Karate Instructor Faces Sex Charge
WEST VIRGINIA....
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies say 38 year old Jeffrey Alan Spangler of Elkview sexually assaulted one of his students while he was working as a part-time karate instructor at Dojo in Mink Shoals. Deputies say he became acquainted with the family of a 13 year old female and then engaged in sexual intercourse with the girl in May while at a residence near St. Albans. Spangler is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 10th after being charged with third-degree sexual assault.
