IRS Seeking Taxpayers Due Refunds
In just a few months, taxpayers will begin filing forms, while some will be awaiting refunds. But, IRS officials say, every now and then, some refunds mailed in the form of a check are returned as undeliverable. Recently, the IRS announced it was seeking 921 Kentuckians who were owed more than $838,000 in refunds after failing delivery due to mailing address errors. Some of those recipients are still being sought. The IRS wants to remind taxpayers to update mailing information through their website at www.IRS.gov.
