Public Hearing On Widening Of Parkway
After many years of anticipation, the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway may soon be widened to accomodate an ever-increasing volume of traffic. A public hearing to discuss making the parkway a four-lane highway will take place on Thursday, August 27th., from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lakefront Church of God on KY 134 in Magoffin County. Following the public hearing, there will be a fifteen day period for public comment.
