PMC To Offer Weight Loss Surgeries
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 4 Americans are considered to be obese. Pikeville Medical Center has announced it plans to start offering a Bariatric Weight Loss service which will include a number of surgeries that will assist in weight loss while also decreasing cases of diseases related to obesity, which include diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea and osteoarthritis.
