Pike County Accident Results In Death
Seventy year old Floyd Chaney of Red Creek (Pike County) died Wednesday after being involved in a vehicle accident on U.S. 23 in front of Shelby Valley High School. Kentucky State Police say Chaney was pulling onto U.S. 23 from Douglas Drive when he drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Margio Werner of Pikeville. Madonna Chaney, Werner and an infant passenger were injured in the accident.
