Groundbreaking For Military Cemetery
A groundbreaking ceremony is set for 10:00 A.M. September 18th. in Greenup County for a 75 acre, $7.3 million regional military cemetery. The section of Industrial Parkway land in East Park, just off I-64, will serve as a cemetery for veterans from Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky, while allowing room for 25,000 gravesites. The funding came from a federal government grant.
