Crash Kills Two In Perry County
Fifty-nine year old Lorene Dollarhide of Whitesburg and 52 year old Billie Combs of Happy were pronounced dead at the scene following a vehicle accident Tuesday in the Glomawr community of Perry County. Authorities say Dollarhide was driving north on KY 15 toward Hazard when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the southbound lane, colliding head-on with the vehicle driven by Combs, while hitting the vehicle driven by State Police Detective Tim Engle, who was not seriously injured.
