Knott County Drug Roundup
Following a four month undercover investigation by Operation UNITE, fourteen people suspected of illegally trafficking prescription drugs have been indicted by a Knott County grand jury. The suspects were the targets of a roundup by law enforcement officials Tuesday morning in which Kentucky State Police, the Knott County Sheriff's Office and UNITE detectives participated. During the investigation, a variety of controlled narcotics, including OxyContin. Methadone, Xanax, Lortab and a small amount of cocaine were purchased.
