Former Mingo Bus Driver Pleads Guilty
Thursday (today) the federal trial came to an abrupt end for retired Mingo County school bus driver Lorene Canterbury when she pleaded guilty to dealing more than 5 kilograms of cocaine. She admitted to distributing large amounts of cocaine to other drug dealers in West Virginia and Kentucky and to sending proceeds to her supplier in Chicago. Canterbury faces a possible life sentence with a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years when sentenced August 6th.
