East Kentucky Expo Center Serves As Regional Relief Supplies Distribution Center
As hundreds of people in eastern Kentucky rely on disaster relief supplies, the East Kentucky Expo Center is serving as a regional distribution center of water, food and cleaning supplies. Expo Center employees and volunteers are working with the National Guard and Red Cross to distribute supplies to Floyd, Breathitt, Owsley, Lee and Pike counties, and officials say the center will be used as long as it is needed.
