Danville Stepmother Pleads To Lesser Charge
Twenty seven year old Virginia Holsinger of Danville, a stepmother accused of starving two of her stepsons, ages 9 and 12, pleaded guilty Thursday (today) to amended charges of two counts of second-degree criminal abuse, a felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Instead of serving jail time, she must meet the terms and conditions of a pretrial diversion program, which includes forty hours of community service for each of the next five years. Final sentencing is set for June 2nd.
