Alleged Attacker Held Without Bond
Thirty four year old Cynthia Mullins of Elkhorn City is being held without bond at the Pikeville Regional Detention Center after being arrested Thursday morning and charged with assault. She's accused of attacking 24 year old Lora Hall Damron, who is seven months pregnant, while inside the Pikeville Wal-Mart. University of Kentucky Hospital spokeswoman Amy Ratliff said Damron was in fair condition Friday morning and said the unborn baby would be fine. Mullins had been released Wednesday evening after being jailed on a charge of terroristic threatening and is on a four year probation for a 2005 stabbing.
