Ky. Governor Pleased With 2009 General Assembly

As Kentucky lawmakers wrap up a legislative session, Governor Steve Beshear says he's pleased with what they've done, pointing to the passages of measures, including tax increases on alcohol and tobacco products. He say, however, he is disappointed that his economic incentive plan to provide tax relief to expanding Kentucky businesses did not pass. Beshear called the 2009 session one of the most productive in anybody's memory.
