Former Magoffin County Deputy Judge Executive Pleads Guilty
Former Magoffin County Deputy Judge Executive Walter Edward Hardin of Salyersville pleaded guilty Wednesday to a federal charge that he used a computer to attempt to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity. He was charged after chatting online with an undercover Kentucky State Police officer posing as a 15 year old girl. Hardin traveled to Lexington to meet the girl in October 2008. Child pornography images were found on his computer at his office. Sentencing is set for June 22nd.
