No Charges In Fatal Pike County Accident
The Commonwealth's Attorney has decide not to file charges against 34-year old Elizabeth Stacey of Vicco. Investigators say, in December, Stacey's vehicle crossed the center line on US23 in front of Deskins Motors and hit a SUV.
The crash killed Stacy's passenger, 41-year old Andrew Scott Smith of Vicco, 47-year old Ernie Johnson and 7-year old Christian Beau Caudill, both of Pikeville. Test results show she had no alcohol in her system, but, did have a low level of hrydrocodone which was prescribed to her. Investigators say it was not enough to impair her driving.
