Floyd County Marijuana Bust

After receiving several complaints, Floyd County Sheriff's Deputies discovered more than 100 marijuana plants. They were found Tuesday afternoon at a house on Route 7 in the Salt Lick community of Floyd County.

Billy Jack Johnson and Autumn Wireman were arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana and trafficking. Officers say they counted at least 115 plants, all growing in one room with heating lights above them, blankets over the windows for disguise and a closet full of fertilizer. The plants were removed. Investigators estimate the value of the plants at $100,000.
