CSX Lays Off 37
CSX railroad laid off 37 workers, train drivers or equipment operators, as a result of the slumping economy. 35 workers from Russell, Kentucky and 2 from Huntington, WV were let go. Last week, eleven workers at the Russell facility were furloughed as part of a 1600 worker furlough across the country.
