Authorities Working Two Accidents In Pike County. One Person Confirmed Dead.
According to Doug Tackett Emergency Services Director for Pike County. Authorities are working two seperate accidents at this current time.
One accident involving a tanker truck has overturned leaving one person dead. The accident occurred on Rte 468 near the Big Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The tanker is empty. Motorists traveling in this area need to seek an alternate route.
Another accident involving a tractor-trailer has happened on the Right Fork of Cow Pin. No injures are reported. The commercial vehicle is caryying sugar.
