Pikeville College Nursing Application Deadline.
The Elizabeth Akers Elliott Division of Nursing at Pikeville College is accepting applications for the new spring 2009 nursing class, with an application deadline of Nov. 3, 2008.
Criteria for admission are: (1) application to the college and the nursing program; (2) official high school and college transcripts; (3) ACT of 19 or above, within the last five years; and (4) Nurse Entrance Test (NET) score of at least 50 percent. All applicants must take the NET during the period of Aug. 1 to Nov. 3, 2008, to qualify as an applicant for the spring 2009 class. The NET will be administered at Pikeville College at 9 a.m. on Sept. 6, Sept. 20, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Oct. 11, and Oct. 25.
The next deadline is March 1, 2009, for those interested in applying to the fall 2009 nursing class. Additional NET dates are available for fall 2009 applicants. For an application packet, call the Division of Nursing at (606) 218-5750 or visit http://www.pc.edu/.
