Pike County Man Killed In Crash.
The Kentucky State Police say one person died and another received life threatening injuries after a single vehicle accident happened early Sunday morning . The accident happened on a portion of highway under construction in the Little Robinson Creek area.
The victim is 20 year-old Michael Prater of Shelbiana. 19 year-old David E. Blackburn of Shelbiana was injured.
Authorities say speed was a factor. Apparently Prater lost control of the vehicle and struck a median, resulting in the vehicle overturning.
Prater was not wearing a seatbelt. Blackburn was.
The accident remains under investigation.
