Kentucky Judge To Decide Trial Delay Request
US Magistrate Judge James B. Todd has set a hearing for October 7 in Lexington to consider a motion to delay the November 12 trial for constuction contractor Leonard Lawson and Lawson aide Brian Russell Billings. They are accused of bid-rigging to obtain state highway construction contracts.
Todd will alson hear arguments about whether defense attorneys should be required to return a tape recording mistakenly given to them by prosecutors.
