KASPER Gets Federal Grant
The Cabinet for Health and Family Services has received a federal grant for its KASPER (Kentucky All Schedule Prescription Electronic Reporting) Program. The US Department of Justice awarded $400,000 funding earmarked to continue the work of improving efficiency for combating illegal prescription drugs, by increasing KASPER use by health care and law enforcement professionals.
