Paintsville To Host Triple Murder Case.
A Carter County Circuit Court Judge has ordered the triple murder trial of Robert Drown be held in Johnson County.
Judge Rebecca Phillips says that the Johnson County courthouse is ideal to hold the high profile trial because of the security and there is a jail next door.
Drown is facing the death penalty in the murders of Jennifer Ison and her two daughters Shannah and Marissa. The house was set on fire. The alleged offense took place in May of last year.
The trial is scheduled to begin on December 1st.
