Horse Ride Scheduled For Fishtrap Saturday
On the heels of a successful horse ride last season, organizers are ready to once again open trails for the Spring South Lake Trail Horse Ride at Fishtrap Lake on May 10.
The event will be the 10th annual of its kind.
The ride will begin at 10 a.m. at Lick Creek Park and will conclude at approximately 6 p.m., according to members of the South Lake Trail Ride Committee.
In addition to the basic ride attraction, which is free to anyone wishing to attend, there will also be food, beverages and entertainment available.
Among the items guests can enjoy will be soup bean, catfish, fried chicken, potatoes, as well as a barbecue station that will feature barbecue pork and beans. Organizers will be capable of serving between 275 to 300 people.
The large array of food that will available to guests will be provided by Greg May with Utility Management Group (UMG).
