Construction On The New Mingo County Airport Set To Begin In Fall.
The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded the Mingo County Airport Authority $ 3.3 million in funding for the construction of the new Mingo County Airport. Construction of the new airport is scheduled to begin in the Fall.
The money should be enough to construct a runway, taxiway and a hanger.
The airport will be located at Varney.
