Charleston Hospital Announces Expansion Plan.
Better service and creating jobs is the goal of one hospital in the Kanawha Valley.
Highland Hospital in Charleston says it is planning a $ 38 million expansion that will add over 200 jobs over the next six years.
The nonprofit psychiatric hospital plans to construct three buildings , including a $ 15 million replacement for the existing facility.
The project would increase the number of beds from 56 to 170.
