Beware Of Scam Artists
A spokesperson with the Social Security Office in Williamson and Logan say that they have received several complaints from residents stating that they have received phone calls asking them to give there banking information so they could receive a new medical card.
One Logan County woman became suspicious when the caller asked her if she had direct deposit.
Most of the complaints are coming from the elderly.
Officials warn to not give out your banking information over the phone.
