Gasoline Prices Predicted To Rise

As though we're not already crying "ouch" at the pump, according to Monday's AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report, gasoline prices have hit a record high nationally. The price of regular in Kentucky is now $3.27. In West Virginia the average is $3.41.

The government expects prices to peak near $3.50/gallon later this Spring. Analysts predict it could approach $4.00/gallon. Producers are switching to a less polluting, more expensive grade they're required to sell during the summer months.

Currently, the national average is $3.33/gallon.
