Death Row Inmates Could Get A Second Dose Of Lethal Cocktail
The Kentucky Supreme Court released an edited version with protocol details not previously disclosed. The 16 page report now gives rules for visiting an inmate once an execution order has been signed, to how to reverse an execution if it is halted after drugs begin to flow.
Among the information not previously released indicated Kentucky's executions are under instructions to administer a second dose of the three drug cocktail if the inmate isn't pronounced dead after 10 minutes.
