Site Chosen For New Pike County Judicial Center.
The state and local members of the Administration of the Courts Committee reported to the Pike County Fiscal Court that they have chosen a site for the new Pike County Judicial Center.
The three story 98,000 square foot facility will be built on the present site of the the coroner’s office, Weddington Theatre, Pinson Hotel and the Artisan Center.
The next step is to notify the property owners and then condemn the properties.
Property owners have been offered $ 1.9 million. The building will cost $ 31.1 million.
The judicial center will be funded by the Commonwealth.
