Louisa's Police Chief and Police Sergeant Indicted On Official Misconduct and Harassment Charges
A Lawrence County grand jury indicted City of Louisa’s police chief and police sergeant on official misconduct charges.
Sergeant Berry Bellomy is accused of ignoring a police call while he was at the home of a former newspaper reporter.
Chief Kevin Adkins and Bellomy are accused of harassing the former reporter.
Both men say they deny the charges and are innocent.
