Floyd County Car Wreck Kills Teenager
A single vehicle accident in Floyd County late Saturday night killed one person and injured two others.
The victim has been identified as 19 year-old Angela Whitaker of David.
Joe Poe, 37, of David is listed in critical condition at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Kevin Ousley, 19, of Hueysville, suffered minor injuries . He was transported to Highlands Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.
The accident occurred at 10:31pm at David.
According to the Kentucky State Police the vehicle was traveling on Mine Access Road when it left the roadway and traveled approximately 150 feet over an embankment. Everyone was ejected from the vehicle. No one was wearing a safety belt.
It remains unclear at this time who was driving .
