Pike County Fiscal Court Increases Pay For Poll Workers.
The Pike County Fiscal Court has increased the pay for poll workers.
Pay for individuals that man the precincts will go from $ 85.00 to $ 150.00.
It remains unclear if the pay increase would go into effect in May.
Pike County Judge Executive Wayne T . Rutherford says that the pay increase might attract more people to work the precincts on election day.
