High Profile Murder Trial Could Be Moved

A high profile triple murder case could be moved to eastern Kentucky.

Carter County resident Robert Drown is accused of killing Jennifer Ison and her two daughters. The trial could be moved to Johnson County.

Defense lawyers for Ison would like the trial to take place in either Lexington or Louisville while the prosecution requested Johnson or Floyd Counties.

Carter County Circuit Court Judge Rebecca Phillips says that Paintsville would be an ideal place because the couthouse has adequate security and also there is a jail next door.

Drown is facing the death penalty if convicted.
