Five Former Knott County Employees File Suit
Although Knott County Judge-Executive Randy Thompson has denied terminating workers for political reasons, three more former employees have joined in a lawsuit against him.
In January, two former employees filed a lawsuit claiming a violation of their rights after they claimed Thompson's associates told them not to support his opponent, Mike Hall, in the November, 2006 elections.
The five former employees are seeking unspecified damages and reinstatement.
